Cbank: Russian ruble’s real effective rate rises 6.4% in November
MOSCOW, Dec 12 (PRIME) -- The real effective rate of the Russian ruble increased by 6.4% against the currencies of the key trade partners adjusted for inflation in November, the central bank said on Tuesday citing preliminary data.
The ruble rose by 8.3% on the month against the U.S. dollar and by 6% against the euro.
The nominal ruble rate increased by 7.1% against the U.S. dollar and by 4.9% against the euro.
In January–November, the real effective rate of the ruble plunged by 24.3%.
